My son, Weston, was diagnosed with Asperger's Disorder when he was 6. Since then, it's been quite an adventure. He has been gifted with the ability to create things and he's extremely mechanical. On the downside, he's experienced bullying and betrayal from so-called friends. He's learning to recognize social cues and signs that lead to better judgment of friends. It's been a life of valleys and peaks, but he's emerging as an adult with a hope and a future. He will soon be attending Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Tulsa with a career in aircraft mechanics. We will always be an anchor in his life!
